Please note. This webinar is similar to the webinar delivered in April 2025 to mark the anniversary of VE Day 2025.

Each November, schools across the country commemorate Remembrance Day by reflecting on and paying tribute to those who lost their lives in war.

In this webinar, Daisy Horsley from Historic England’s Heritage Schools programme will offer step-by-step guidance on how to research local soldiers whose names appear on war memorials. She will also share engaging classroom activity ideas to help students explore the lives and stories of these individuals, ensuring that Remembrance Day is both meaningful and memorable for pupils.
