Webinar 3: Collaboration; Environment; Sources
Note. This is the third of three standalone webinars. You can come to all three or just sign up to the ones that you can attend.
In our ‘3 in 3’ sequence of webinars, teachers from our Champion Heritage Schools will present a range of ideas that have supported their own development, and teaching, of local history, with their students. Based on their own localities, these ideas can be applied to all areas. There are three webinars in this series. The format of each webinar will be three presentations by three different speakers. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask the presenters questions about the practice they share.
The presentations in this webinar are:
1. Engaging the school community in creating a heritage resource. Presenter: Caroline Chester
2. Exploring climate change and environmental impact through our local history studies. Presenter: Mary Potts
3. Using sources to bring local history to life: A practical approach for the primary classroom. Presenter: Nia Evans
